Back to the Future Delorean, Crams 500GB USB Drive

Flash Rods is offering quite possibly the coolest Hard Drive Cars for today, The Delorean Time Machine is a 1:18 scale model of the Back to the Future time machine with a built-in 500GB Seagate hard drive.

The addition of the hard drive leaves no visible modifications to the car itself, except for it isn’t USB 3.0 enabled and doesn’t actually go 88 MPH, but it is sure to be the center piece of any hardcore Geek’s collection. After all, it may not be the fast storage device out there but it certainly is the COOLEST!

The doors and the hood flip up, the wheels roll, and there’s a USB port located on the rear license plate.

The stainless steel hard drive will run you $250.

Elecom’s wireless headphones for the iPod Shuffle

Are you looking for a headphones that are wireless??? then this is what you are looking for. The Elecom’s Actrail headphones are wireless, Bluetooth-less ear muffs designed for your miniature Apple-borne MP3 player. Elecom  found a way to create a wireless pair of headphones without the need for clunky batteries or Bluetooth hardware. There is a 3.5mm jack right there on the side which impales the Shuffle and keeps it in place. To change tracks, volume or anything else, just reach up to your ear and press. The Actrail headphones (which is derived from Trail Access’ for that is their name) feature a handy mount for the latest generation iPod Shuffles. The Actrails cost ¥4,200 ($50) a pair and come in pink or white and are available in Japan. It’s ingenious, and although apparently limited to the latest-gen Shuffle only.

i3DG Palm Top Theater for your iPhone or iPod,puts 3D movies in the palm of your hand

Palm Top Theater puts 3D movies in the palm of your hand. It is an exhibition consisting of a device called i3DG. i3DG derives from the words”I”,  “3D”, and “Gadget”.

i3DG is invented by Jitsuro Mase, a media artist, and produced by DIRECTIONS, Inc, a Japanese media production company.

i3DG is a playful analog extension to an iPhone or an iPodTouch, converting its 2D display into a layered 3D view. Using the old technique of placing a half-silvered mirror at a 45-degree angle in front of an image, in a new context, the project extends upon 3D displays and iPhones. As a peripheral gadget, i3DG can support a wide range of different applications, from  3Dvideos and animations to accelerometer-based games.

This device lets you enjoy 3D movies right in the palm of your hand without 3D glasses or other gear. Both production and playback of the visuals do not require special technology or equipment, such as shooting imagery with 2 cameras or using complicated CG technique for image production. It has won a prize of an international competition, Ars Electronica Festival 2010 Honorary Mention.

SwitchEasy’s series of Nude cases: Nude for iPhone 4

If you like your cases slim, and clear, then SwitchEasy has a collection of that. The SwitchEasy ‘s Nude for iPhone 4. According to SwitchEasy, it is a state of the art 1mm Ultra Thin casing and the case has a duo UV resistant gloss coating and was made from super strong polycarbonate material. So it can protect the iPhone 4 from scratch and bumps.

Aside from the case’s thin form factor, it also has the usual cut-outs to provide access to the different buttons of the iPhone 4. And to protect these buttons and holes from dust that might accumulate inside, SwitchEasy was gracious enough to pack in two pairs of rubber covers for the USB port and the headphone port.  In addition, you also get two pieces of SwitchEasy’s anti-static screen guards, a squeegee for applying the screen guard, and a micro-fiber cloth. SwitchEasy comes in 8 different colors to choose from and you can get this for $19.99.

I read some comments through some of the people who have been using SwitchEasy’s Nude Cases and some other said that, the good thing about the Nude case is Very thin. Very light. Minimal design. High quality. Not particularly expensive. and No “lip” to get in your way. But of course, if there’s good thing there is also a bad thing and they say that, It has no drop protection.  None.  At all. No front glass protection. And slightly harder to access the power, volume, and silence buttons.

Overall, I would say this is a Buy unless you’re looking for drop protection.

Croc iPad Case probably the most expensive case. What a Croc!

What a Croc!……Designed by Jennifer Tattanelli this crocodile iPad cover was discovered in Florence, Capital of Tuscany. Tattanelli has deep roots in the city’s traditional luxury leather goods industry. She take over the family business, creating leather jackets and bags that bring new meaning to the phrase “like buttah.”

After seeing other cases that have been unveiled by many companies, that were all style and no substance, Tattanelli decided she could do better. And she has. Her own Croc iPad Case. Her gorgeous crocodile case comes in two color to chose, one is espresso and black which is not shown in the picture. It is not only protective, but can be folded back to prop up an iPad in various positions for presentations, and includes an interior pocket for documents and business cards.

This stuff is tough. It’s also got kick-ass shopping, particularly its beautifully hand-crafted leather goods that’s why it is probably the most expensive Case that has been released for a whopping $1599.

if the suede lining happens to get dirty, just dust the stain with baby power and brush it with a soft brush. Says Tattanelli.
